I am SO jealous. I would LOVE to see those movies in the theater on the big screen! We can go together, Neal and R can go hang out doing their guy thing ;o)

Ooh! Top Hat!! Ok, anyway, here's my list in no particular order:

1. Amelie
2. Strangers on a Train
3. The 400 Blows
4. Some Like it Hot
5. Sunrise
6. City Lights
7. Wings of the Dove
8. The Devil's Backbone
9. The Age of Innocence
10. A Christmas Story

Well, seeing as how I live in the rural South and don't get to a theatre but about twice a year (birthday and sometime during Christmas holiday) there are a number I would like to see. At least it would make the 2-hour trip worthwhile. My list (also in no particular order):

1. BIG
2. Top Gun
3. Braveheart
4. Gone With the Wind
5. Gettysburg
6. Deerhunter
7. Godfather
8. An American Tale
9. The Phantom of the Opera (1925 original)
10. All That Jazz

You missed Dirty Dancing?! How?!

Ok, DD was my first movie date. Star Wars I saw with my dad in the theaters, back when movies came to the theaters more than once. And for me, that would be totally awesome to see again! I'm a huge SW geek and would love to see all 6 played back to back in a theater. Might have to have dim lighting though, knitting would have to be accomplished in that 12 hour marathon!

The original Sabrina is on my list of very favorite movies, but I wasn't sure that seeing it on the big screen would do anything for it so I didn't put it on my list. You actually hit upon some really great ones I didn't think of!

You were not too little to see Star Wars in the theater. I saw it in the theater. Twice. Of course, I missed the last 4 minutes the first time because I had to pee, but I totally saw the whole thing the second time. Yes, when I was 7. And I loved every single second of it.

I am really really REALLY looking forward to seeing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I. We are going to the first showing on Sunday. The Boy is almost as excited as T and I are!

Lion in Winter and Out of Africa. And so glad to see a post above naming Deer Hunter. Hands down my top three!
