These aren't from my garden, but they still tasted great on a French boule with butter. Along with a watermelon, cucumber, and feta salad, and a green salad, and a small glass of beer, those radishes made a fresh, delish dinner in the gloaming.
What do you like for dinner on a hot nearly-the-Solstice night?
My mother used to serve radishes like the French - she was French. She carved out a small wedge in the radish and pushed in a bit of real butter in there. Helps quell the heat from the radish. Yum. Have you tried sauteing them? Try it. Surprisingly good.

Butter stuffed radishes sound so good, as do sauteed radishes! I will be trying both!

Radishes are always the biggest producers in my garden ... and I struggle with what to do with them. What else do you do besides salad?
