My brain is not doing the knitting maths very well these days as I attempt to refigure a pattern...you've got a leg up on me! Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some more math to rework...

Cookie

Congrats on 300, Bev!

Is it wrong that I want to spam you so you can get to 2K in comments?

Ya know, if it had been me, I would have tried a different needle size to see if I could get gauge. Then again, I hate math... and socks. ;^)

Sarey

You so smart! I love it!! I think you're quite clever with math indeed. 300?? I need to get off my lazy derriere 'cause verytime I see "blogless Sara" I cringe....

Ramona

Oh don't even get me started on gauge. That hoodie I blogged about today is supposed to be a size 10. It was supposed to be for Alex. It actually is about a size 4 and is now for Isabella. I hate gauge and yarn that doesn't do what you want.

Knitting math always makes me feel clever.
Congrats on your 300th post.

Bev

As one Bev to another, I hates the maths. I can get the gauge wrong on anything. I once made a floor length triangular shawl because I knitted with the needles called for in the pattern, which gave me a gauge about 3 times bigger than required. I just kept buying more yarn to get to the right number of rows before binding off. It is a thing of beauty, I can assure you!

OMG MATH MAKES MY BRAIN HURT! ><

Michelle

Good luck with your gauge. Even after messing with math and gauge, my gauge likes to change and then I'm still off! Congrats on the 2k post! :-)

For some odd reason, I only attempt my knitting math very late at night, when I'm too tired to think straight. Not very successful there. Congrats on both blog milestones!
