You should have seen the catastrophes I had with my jaywalkers. I didn't knit every other row, I just kept doing the pattern part and mine were soo tiny. I could get them over my foot but I had to like hold my breath and swear a lot. It wasn't until I got done with the heel flap and started back around on the instep that I figured it out... DOH! But, as soon as I finished my first pair I cast on for my second!!They were my first socks. I LOVE them!!

When I was at the heel flap I could barely get my heel/ankle through my jay, but they stretched a lot. They're a little too big now.
