The Organized Elf

11 Months and Counting

Did anyone else notice today's date?  Eleven months until the big Elfie day!

So what have I accomplished in my quest to be an Organized Elf so far?  I've got my card list made and have gradually been updating the addresses (helpful for my wedding invites, too).  I packed the unused cards from this year in an easily accessible and memorable (always the sticking point for me) place, and I've got this year's received cards lined up for some recycling fun.  I'm going to make gift tags with them, probably over the weekend.

I created my TOE notebook so I can keep ideas and lists in one place.  I've also planned to make March the month of Korkinessers.  I'm going to aim for one a day in March.  Anyone want to join me?  If you need corks, let me know.  I have a good sized bag of them and am willing to share.  I think these will be adorable package toppers.

In blog news, my plans for the weekend include a massive update of the participant list--I think we're at about 30 members.  I'm also going to post Heide's & Jaime's adorable buttons in the sidebar...I'll extend the contest for button makers another week to try to get more.  Anyone?  Bueller?

Now.  We're in need of some clever The Organized Elf buttons.  I spent the afternoon putting together this banner and will make a button out of it, but variety, well, she is the spice of life, so lets see your handiwork, ok?  I will put the names of all entrants into a bag and pull out a winner on January 31st.  The prize?  One of the fabulous skeins of yarn in my stash.  Which, by the way, is all listed on an excel sheet.  Post your entry on a post here, and I'll add them to the sidebar for others to enjoy.
